Laser assisted synthesis of ultrapure nanoparticles in liquids is a novel technique for the rapid and flexible generation of a broad range of nanoparticles. Without use of any chemical additives, this versatile method delivers nanoparticles with incomparable particle purity and stability depending only on raw-material and liquid quality. Particle diameter scales generally in the sub-100 nm size regime with monomodal particle dispersion opening broad range of applicability.
